LAKE IMPROVEMENT BOARD FOR BEAR LAKE

Members in Attendance: Don Brisbin – Chairman, Bob Yates – Secretary, Ken Hilliard – Board of Commissioners, Carver Edwards – Treasurer, Bryan Harris – Pleasanton Twp Rep. Mark DiBenedetto – Drain Commissioner and Board Guest Mike Soloman – Lakeshore Environment Rep.
Treasurer Report: Presented by Carver – current balance $139508.69 - moved by Mark DiBenedetto, seconded by Ken Hilliard to approve – passed.
Public Comment: None
Old Business: Phragmities at Blarney Castle site appears some new growth additional treatment will be necessary in fall. DOT will not share in cleanup.
New Business:
1) Mike reported inspection on Lake took place June 8, 2010 – approx. 3 acres found.
2) Treatment June 17, 2010
New Bills: None
Public Comment: Jim Eaton has found good weeds in four locations that previously had issues.
