FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR WATER UPGRADES
February 10, 2010
The Special Meeting was called to order by President Glen Moore at 7:00 p.m. at the Bear Lake Village Hall.
Present: Carver Edwards, Alice Howe, Don Hyrns, Jim Mlejnek, Glen Moore, Michelle Mortenson, Ron Ronning and George Schafer.
Absent: Howard Higley and Larry Mortenson
Funds: Additional grant opportunities available were discussed and reviewed.
Motion by Ron seconded by Carver to proceed with obtaining a loan with Honor State Bank at the interest rate of 4.15%. Motion carried.

BUDGET HEARING SPECIAL MEETING

The Budget Hearing was called to order by President Glen Moore at 7:30 p.m. at the Bear Lake Village Hall.
Present: Carver Edwards, Alice Howe, Don Hyrns, Jim Mlejnek, Glen Moore, Michelle Mortenson and Ron Ronning and George Schafer.
Absent: Howard Higley and Larry Mortenson
Funds: The budget was presented with brief discussion on the various accounts. Discussion was also held on the millage rate which is currently set at 10.5501. No action taken at this time.

The Special Meeting was called to order by President Glen Moore at 2:00 p.m. at the Bear Lake Village Hall.
Present: Carver Edwards, Alice Howe, Don Hyrns, Glen Moore, Larry Mortenson, Michelle Mortenson, Ron Ronning and George Schafer.
Absent: Howard Higley and Jim Mlejnek Absent: John DeVol with Flies & Vandenbrink Engineering
Motion by Ron seconded by Larry to seek a grant for $250,000 with a matching funds amount of 16% for additional water and street upgrades and repairs. Motion carried
