REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
October 20, 2010
The Regular Meeting of the Bear Lake Village Council was called to order by President Glen Moore at 7:30 p.m. at the Bear Lake Village Hall.
Council Present: Carver Edwards, Howard Higley, Alice Howe, Don Hyrns, Jim Mlejnek, Glen Moore, Larry Mortenson, Michelle Mortenson, Donna Ronning, Ron Ronning, George Schafer.
Absent: None
Guests: John DeVol, Craig Johnson and Dave, Elmer's Representative
Minutes: The October minutes were approved as presented.
Treasurer's Report: Motion by Ron seconded by Larry to accept the Treasurer's Report as read. Motion carried.

Motion by Carver seconded by Don to pay bills as presented. Motion carried.
Motion by Ron seconded by Jim to approve Denise & Bob Hathon as the new Hopkins Park Campground Hosts. Motion carried.
Motion by George seconded by Jim to approve CJs Excavating payment request in the amount of $205,866.51 Motion carried.
Motion by Ron seconded by Don to approve a change order for the phase one water project in the amount of $526.31. Motion carried.
Motion by George seconded by Ron to pay Elmer's $2,752.22 for the extra paving on Smith Road. Motion carried.
Motion by Ron seconded by Larry to have CJs fix the sidewalk on Smith street or deduct $1,000 from CJs pay request. CJs agreed with the $1,000 deductible. Yeas: Carver Edwards, Larry Mortenson, Ron Ronning, George Schafer and Glen Moore. Nays: Don Hyrns and Jim Mlejnek. Motion carried.
Motion by George seconded by Carver to dock CJs 22 days worth of damages at the cost of $17,600.00 Motion carried.
Discussions Held On: - A meeting to open bids for the ground level water storage tank was set for November 11th at 10:00 a.m. - New tires will be purchased for the Village truck. - Dock upgrade is set to be completed by mid-November
