Administered Oath of Office to New Council Member Robert Howe.
The Regular Meeting of the Bear Lake Village Council was called to order by President Glen Moore at 7:30 p.m. at the Bear Lake Village Hall.
Council Present: Connie Guerne, Ricke Guerne, Howard Higley, Robert Howe, Don Hyrns, Michelle Mortenson, Ron Ronning, Carol Urbanus and Glen Moore.
Absent: Vern Best
Guests: Carver Edwards, Dave Long.
Minutes: The December minutes were approved as presented.

Treasurer’s Report: Motion by Carol seconded by Ron to accept the Treasurer's Report as read. Motion carried.

Amend Budget: Motion by Ron seconded by Don to amend the budget to up Minor Street Repairs and Maintenance by $1,500.00. Motion carried.
Bills: Motion by Ricke seconded by Ron to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried.
Campground: Carol reported that the 2004 season brought in the following amounts: Campground Fees, $25,404.80; Shower Money, $196.00; Dump Station, $30.00; and Pop Can Returns, $41.50.
Motion by Ron seconded by Don to require a 2-night weekend stay during the month of July and on all Holiday weekends. Motion carried.
Correspondence: Motion by Ron seconded by Ricke to send a letter to a resident on Wise Street regarding their parked car in the roadway and a reminder not to bury the hydrant located near their home with snow. Motion carried.
Received a letter from Craig Wiley and requesting some history of a Mr. Andrews. Referred them to the Keddie-Norconk Memorial Library.
Equipment: Motion by Ron seconded by Carol to purchase four Christmas decorations brackets from Wayne Manufacturing. Motion carried.
Website: Clarified Carol Urbanus's new position as Website Liaison between the Council members and the website designer.
Council Members: Motion by Ron seconded by Ricke to purchase six styrofoam flotation inserts from Bear Lake Ace Hardware at a price of $85 each. Motion carried. Council member volunteers will insert the foam into the dock in the spring.
Discussions Held On:
- Keeping the downtown area's sidewalks free of snow. No solution was found at this time.
- A Wellhead Protection Meeting was set for February 9th at 7:00 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
