Bear Lake Village Ordinance No. 2002-01

RESOLUTION FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Village of Bear Lake is desirous of regulating access to and the ongoing use of public rights-of-way by telecommunications providers for their telecommunications facilities while exercising reasonable control of the public rights-of-way in compliance with the Metropolitan Extension Telecommunications Rights-of-Way Oversight Act (Act No. 48 of the Public Acts of 2002) ("Act") and other applicable law, and is desirous of ensuring that the City qualifies for distributions under the Act by modifying the fees charged to providers and complying with the Act.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Bear Lake, shall add to the Village of Bear Lake Code of Ordinances, Ordinance No.: 2002-01, which was enacted pursuant to the aforementioned Metropolitan Extension Telecommunications Rights-of-Way Oversight Act.

I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE ABOVE RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE VILLAGE OF BEAR LAKE ON December 11, 2002.
